Cocktail of the Month
This month's cocktail comes courtesy of Indre aka the Catch from Patch
Pineapple Express
Ingredients
50ml Vodka (any decent vodka will do)
2 slices of fresh pineapple
2 slices of a juicy orange
a splash of fresh lemon juice
a drizzle of agave syrup
Method
Muddle together the slices of pineapple and orange in a cocktail shaker until you have a paste then add a splash of lemon juice, a drizzle of agave syrup and the vodka. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a pineapple wedge on the side of the glass.
Fact - The enzymes in pineapples break down protein making them an excellent and tasty way to tenderise and flavour all types of meat, try it at home.
